Your Low Point Could Be Your Best Point in Life!

All of us hit low points in life. And some are much lower than others…

What I am talking about here is the times when we experience some pain or disappointment in life.

It might be getting in an auto accident and ruining your new car.
It could be ending a relationship with someone close to you.
It might even be the loss of a loved one.

You see — disappointment and pain come in all sizes and situations.

Whenever I have one of these unfortunate situations arise, I remember the quote by J. Pierpont Morgan: “The first step toward getting somewhere is to decide that you are not going to stay where you are.”

Let me explain how hitting your low point might just be that turning point that you need.

Such situations help you redefine your life and what you want. You might be thinking, “My life sucks! I must fix this. Or this is just not working for me!”

Being in this difficult place helps you to dig deep and decide how hard you are willing to work and what you are willing to do to make your new desired situation become a reality.

Unfortunately, for most of us, it is literally our rock bottom that is powerful enough to make us take that first step to change the situation.

Whether you have a big or small, painful, or just a moderately uncomfortable situation, remember it might just be a good thing because it will spur you to take the first step towards the type of life you really want!
